Open Office: This is a great word processing tool that has all the tools the office pro needs Word processing,Spreadsheet,Presentation(Just Like power point),Math and a excellent Vector drawing program all compatible with MS Word and MS office and more.With the cross compatibility of this program you will be sure to love it. www.openoffice.org
Blender.org: This is a great 3D animation and gaming eng for you High Tech artist and molders. You have seen toy story and the Incredible’s well with this open source Software you can do just that creat your own animated cartoon or game. Blender was used in the last Star Wars movie for some of the graphics. I use this and have fun making interesting 3d programs. I’m not real good at molding but getting better. Check it out, you will enjoy working with this one. OH yea did I mention you can edit video’s too with Blender. www.blender.org
AVG 8.5: Avg has a free anti viruses program for individual users it an excellent protector for your computer runs in the background protecting your computer from harmful downloads and e-mail. Avg is a good program after using it you’ll want to upgrade to there full program I’m sure. Try it you’ll like it.

Gimp: This is a photo shop like graphic editor for the photographer. Was developed for the Linux user’s and now for the window’s user as well. If you want to edit and enhance your photo’s or get real creative, you can do this with Gimp.
Inkscape: Is a Vector graphics Creator much like Adobe Illustrator very professional and free to use. able to scan your hand drawings and transfer to a digital Trace. Great program for the inspiring artist just getting started but no money for Adobe products.
Word press: Wordpress is a great blog or static C M S program for doing a web sight you can edit from any where on the internet.
